Truma heater faults

If you have a question about your Truma heater , always have information about the appliance type, year of manufacture and factory number at hand. May sound silly but is the caravan battery fully charged and the rocker switch for the battery set to van. The water heater wont work on gas if the battery is low. Does this fault affect water heating, space heating, or both? I was just seeing if anyone else had encountered the unfortunate problem were having with the ultrastore water heater failing. We had two similar problems recently although on a more modern boiler.
