Hi all, I have a frustrating gas oven problem that I hope you can help me with. All rings went faulty within the space of month. It will usually light and preheat to the set temp, but when it tries to re-light to maintain the temp. Yesterday afternoon I went to put roast in the oven and when I turn the gas , it lights but after secs I release the knob and the gas cuts off.
The gas was off for days. This oven will heat up and appear to be working and as far as the display shows, everything is great.
But when you open it to check on the food the oven is not hot. I show you a few things to try. I have a gas Imperial Convection Oven and it sparks on and off and won’t stay lite. Once ightedid it will stay on. To use my grill I have to keep my oven door ajar using a metal strip that came with the cooker.
