Because lumens measure brightness and watts measure energy output, there is no simple method for converting wattage to lumens. With energy efficient lighting like LEDs and CFLs, how many lumens are in a 60W bulb or 100W bulb depends on the lumen output of the bulb, not its energy use. The rules have change though.
In fact, a -watt LED just may blind you. A compact fluorescent is rated in terms of watts or so being equal to watts incandescent, more or less. They are probably not even available with a 1watt rating.
There is no such thing as a 2watt GLS lamp. Average lumen output is 10- lumens per watt. The watters are times more efficient. Watts is the defining energy consumption gauge. But do keep in mind that the light thrown out by the watt bulbs might not be anywhere near as much as the watt bulb.

Over the last days customers using our energy switching service saved an average of £182. This is so much more efficient considering that the 1Watt incandescent bulbs put out roughly lumens per watt. To replace the 40W incandescent with a CFL you’d be looking for one with about a 4Lumen output. Depends on the bulbs efficiency. However, the number of lumens given out.
A given light source will also only make so many lumens or light watts , per electrical input watt. So it isn;t that straightforward. Incandescent light bulbs would make about 8lumens per watts.
All three of mine burned out in two days so I had no light at all.
