My parking factory fitted parking sensors have stopped working and all i get now is a loud long beep, according to the handbook there is a fault (really!) and i should take it to the dealer. I engage reverse the unit beeps once to record a fault and ALL the sensor stop ticking! When I bought mine, the parking sensors did not work, but they all still ticked away apart from the faulty one.

MG have replacements but apparently these are on back order and have been for some time, in addition when replacements are fitte they need to be painted to match the bumper.
Turns out my sensor failure was due to a faulty speaker. It was a pretty simple fix for my mechanic by all accounts and cost AU$1for parts and labour.
