Arduino rgb led strip controller

If you have any questions. You just bought a RGB LED strip kit and you would like to get rid of that cheap hand-held IR remote and to have REAL control. Being just before the start of music festival season, I naturally went.


The information in this post also works with other similar LED strips , such as strips of the WS28XX family, Neopixel strip and others. We show you how to wire the strip to the Arduino , and the code you need to upload to produce effects. In this first video in the Arduino essentials series, we go through how to program it to control an RGB LED strip that is individually addressable.

We will use the Adafruit’s NeoPixel library to change. I have an Arduino UNO and I am attempting to turn ON and OFF a color (re green, or blue) light of the strip. This tutorial shows how to interface Common Anode RGB LED Strip with Arduino. You will have single switch to control colors of the RGB LED strip.
